At Alvechurch Middle school, physical education is an integral part of our curriculum that is inclusive and engages all pupils. Children develop the knowledge, skills and competence to excel in a broad range of sports and physical activities. We aim to create a high-quality physical education curriculum which inspires all pupils throughout our school to succeed and excel in competitive sport and other physically-demanding activities.
We aim to provide opportunities for pupils to become physically confident in a way which supports their physical and mental health, fitness and well- being. Through this, we aim to help build a pupils character and embed values such as fairness, respect, resilience and teamwork which can be transferable to all areas of life.
