Annual Trip Overview
Below you will find a list of trips that we would normally plan throughout the year so that you can plan/budget accordingly. Details of confirmed trips will be emailed to you and details added to ARBOR and ParentPay as and when we are able to do so. Please ensure that should you have any financial concerns regarding trip payments, please reach out to our finance team who will assist you confidentially. Please also explore Alvechurch Grammar School Trust – A local charitable trust supporting local children (alvechurchgst.org.uk) as they are also able to provide financial support for all extra curricular costs through parental application. Please visit site for further details and make a note of the application deadlines. Those in receipt of pupil premium and free school meals can liaise with Mr Harrison regarding possible funding.
Note to all parent/carer’s regarding trip payments: We would like to make it clear we ask for monetary contribution for all day trips which is entirely voluntary. There is no obligation for you to submit payment for any trips that take place during the school day; however, should we be unable to cover the full cost, insufficient funds may result in the visit being unable to go ahead. If we have already received donations prior to the cancellation of the trip, please be assured that these will be refunded to parents in full. All donations are greatly appreciated and mean that if we can cover the full cost, we will be able to enhance your child’s learning in a way that we believe to be most beneficial. For trips with not enough financial contribution will need to be cancelled, school funds do not extend to enhancement, this are organised in the belief that parents will support our efforts.
