 Part A: Curriculum Music

Music is taught across all year groups, with each receiving a fifty-minute lesson a week.

The curriculum is designed in house by our specialist music teacher, informed by the Music Model Curriculum, March 2021 (link to Gov. Music model curriculum)  Musical Contexts and Sing UP. Our programme has a whole class, inclusive approach. Music is on the ground floor, having lift access if required. TA support is deployed where required and we have a range of resources to promote inclusion and support for SEND.

Pupils have the opportunity to play: Keyboards, Percussion, Drums, Ukuleles, Guitars, Bass, bellringing, Boom whackers, along with singing and working as technical crew within lessons.
