We went to the Skills Show on 16th November. When we got there we got wrist bands that had to be scanned and only 10 people were allowed through because the rest came up as red. But they let us in the end. There was a meeting point that we had to check in at 12:00 and 2:00. We got to wear non-school uniform. We went round in groups of 3 or more. There were loads of different things like a robot at one stall that you could hug. At another stall there was this famous person who is the presenter of the Dengineers (on CBBC). She was advertising this thing to do with phones. Also there were lots of freebies! One of the things you could get for free was a bird house which they helped you make. As you walked around you met all these people who talked about all the different jobs. One of the people in an army bit let you plat noughts and crosses with a person in a suit under water. The army bit in general was pretty big so there was tons to do. If you wanted things to eat you could go to a place near the entrance and buy some. We got Pick & Mix in our last few minutes. Also, there were tons of people there so it was pretty hard to get around without running into people or going in front of a camera filming it. Overall, it was a great day. We learned a lot and had fun.
