3 x Learning Support Assistant – One to One/General Class Support

We are seeking to appoint up to 3 Learning Support Assistants to work on a mixture of a one to one with students with identified special educational needs and general support work in classes.
You would potentially be required to work with an individual student both in the classroom and during breaks and lunchtimes to assist with safety, behaviour and motivation, assisting the student with the development of social skills as well as the work in the classroom. General class support would involve working with a number of identified pupils under the direction of the class teacher.
In order to be successful for this position we are ideally looking for candidates with previous experience of working with young people with behavioural and learning difficulties, preferably on a one to one basis. Previous experience of working in a school environment is desirable but not necessary.

Finance & Office Assistant

- Salary: Scale 3
- Hours: 35 hours per week over 5 days plus 5 TED days
- Contract: Permanent (3 month probation period)
- Reporting to: School Business Manager
We are looking for a key person who is vibrant, energetic, confident and dependable team player to join our finance/office team. You will assist in maintaining excellent support to pupils, parents and staff in your role of finance and office assistant. Due to the nature of this role it is essential that confidentiality, professionalism and reliability is maintained along with having a proactive and a “can-do” attitude to work. The need to be a confident user of all ICT packages to include Power Point, Word, Excel and information management systems. Training will be provided for all financial software. You will need to be confident to produce regular school newsletters and be trained to update our website with the aim of sharing school news. You will also be first aid trained and kept up to date with all essential Safeguarding training in line with school policies.
Work Pattern: Primarily this will be a Finance role with the addition of some office support duties during peak times to ensure all areas are managed accordingly.
Hours of work: 35 hours per week over 5 days plus 5 School Training Days
Additional 12 hours per school year to support Key School Events throughout the year e.g. Parent Evenings, Open Evenings, PTA Events.
