We are looking for a new Clerk to the Governors/Company Secretary of our vibrant and friendly school situated in Alvechurch.  The successful applicant will need to provide the Governing Body with procedural advice in carrying out its statutory obligations and administrative support in fulfilling its strategic functions.  There are 3 full governing body meetings per year, approximately 12 sub committee meetings as well as 3 Director Meetings. This would total approximately 200 hours per year. The post will be paid at Salary Band E.

Proven clerking experience in the education sector will be a distinct advantage in this role, as you will be supporting the Headteacher and Chair of Governors to ensure the smooth running of the Governing Body. Mental Health Professional

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Mental Health Professional to support the school in the well being and safeguarding of our pupils on a day to day basis.  The role will involve:

  • 1 to 1 meetings with identified pupils
  • Liaison with parents to offer support and advice
  • Staff training in respect of Mental Health and other identified areas
  • Running parent workshops on areas of need
  • Supporting staff with their Well Being and Mental Health
  • Potentially supporting other schools with their Mental Health requirements

We want a person who will be dedicated to the well being of our pupils and staff and to be a key part of our community.
