On Wednesday 13th March 2019 a group of 16 year 8’s went to South Bromsgrove where a virtual planetarium was set up.
Five of our pupils who perform in a band known as ‘Media Blackout’ took to the stage at Hopwood Village Hall alongside two of Music Academy Midlands bands, ‘Fingers Crossed’ and ‘

Today we had an assembly about the NSPCC. We learnt about child safety and child abuse. There was a teddy which was a speech bubble and the sack of worries.
I think it was really good and it made me feel so safe because I know there are other people that will listen to me. NSPCC is in partnership with Childline.

Last week a poet called Spoz came in to teach us how to write poetry. He had a mad mohican which caught everybody’s eyes.
